A post-hoc analysis of the STOPDAPT-3 trial demonstrated that heparin administration after PCI did not prevent thrombotic events in patients with ACS and significantly increased the risk of bleeding, according to a study presented by Dr. Hirotoshi Watanabe, Hirakata Kohsai Hospital, Japan at the Late Breaking Clinical Trials session at CVIT 2024.
