Optical Coherence Tomography-guided Coronary Intervention in Patients with Complex Lesions: The OCCUPI Randomized Clinical Trial
The OCCUPI trial demonstrated that OCT-guided PCI for complex coronary lesions significantly reduced the 1-year risk of MACE (cardiac death, MI, stent thrombosis and ischemia-driven TVR) compared with angio-guided PCI, according to a study presented by Dr. Byeong-Keuk Kim, Yonsei University College of Medicine, Korea, in the Hot Line session at ESC Congress 2024.
