Complete vs. Culprit-Only Revascularization in Older STEMI Patients: The EARTH-STEMI meta-analysis
The EARTH-STEMI IPD meta-analysis demonstrated that in elderly patients with ST-elevation MI (STEMI) with multivessel coronary artery disease, complete revascularization reduced the risk of cardiovascular death and MI compared with revascularization of culprit lesion only, according to a study presented Dr. Gianluca Campo, University Hospital of Ferrara, Italy, in the Hot Line session at ESC Congress 2024.
