Treatment of severe calcified coronary lesions with the Aperta NSE Scoring Balloon after orbital atherectomy (OA) showed better dilatation as assessed by OCT compared with treatment with a cutting balloon, Dr. Daigo Kachi and colleagues, Japanese Red Cross Musashino Hospital, Japan, reported in the August 1 issue of Catheterization & Cardiovascular Interventions.
