Comparison of Puncture Success Rate between Distal Radial Access and Trans Radial Access in Patients with ST-elevation Myocardial Infarction: The DRAMI Trial
The DRAMI trial demonstrated that, in PCI for patients with ST-elevation MI (STEMI), distal radial artery (DRA) access had a higher success rate in coronary angiography and PCI compared to transradial artery (TRA) access. However, a non-inferiority assessment of successful puncture did not confirm a definitive result, according to a presentation by Dr. Jun-Won Lee from Yonsei University College of Medicine, South Korea, in the Late-Breaking Clinical Science session at TCT 2024.
