The Iberis-HTN trial demonstrated that renal denervation (RDN) significantly reduced blood pressure at six months compared with sham procedures in Chinese patients with uncontrolled hypertension, without raising safety concerns, Dr. Xiongjing Jiang and colleagues, Peking Union Medical College & Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, China, reported in the November 12 issue of Circulation.
