Short-Term Dual Antiplatelet Therapy After Drug-Eluting Stenting in Patients With Acute Coronary Syndromes: A Systematic Review and Network Meta-Analysis

A network meta-analysis of randomized trials in ACS patients who underwent PCI with DES showed that monotherapy with potent P2Y12 inhibitors after 1 month of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) reduced major bleeding without increasing MACCE compared to 12 months of DAPT. Carvalho and colleagues, Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, USA, reported in the December issue of JAMA Cardiology.
