Impact of Bifurcation Lesions on Outcomes After FFR-Guided PCI or CABG
The FAME 3 trial demonstrated that in patients with three-vessel coronary artery disease, the presence of true bifurcation lesions did not affect the treatment outcomes of fractional flow reserve (FFR)-guided PCI with second-generation drug-eluting stents (DES) or CABG, Dr. Daimy M.M. Dillen and colleagues, Catharina Hospital, the Netherlands, reported in the January issue of Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
