The France TAVI registry demonstrated that the annual incidence of hospitalization due to coronary events after TAVR was 1.5%; however, outcomes were poor in patients who did not undergo PCI for coronary events, Dr. Sandra Zendjebil and colleagues, Institut Cardiovasculaire Paris-Sud, France, reported in the January 27 issue of JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions.
