The FLAVOUR II trial demonstrated that a PCI strategy guided by AngioFFR—calculated from angiographic images without the need for additional invasive procedures—was non-inferior to an IVUS-guided PCI strategy in terms of 1-year clinical outcomes, according to a study presented by Dr. Jianan Wang, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, China, in the Late-Breaking Clinical Trials session at ACC.25.
