A meta-analysis of randomized trials demonstrated that physiology-guided complete revascularization significantly reduced the risks of cardiovascular death and repeat revascularization compared with culprit lesion-only PCI in myocardial infarction (MI) patients with multivessel disease, Dr. Sahib Singh and colleagues, Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, USA, reported in the December 1 issue of The American Journal of Cardiology.
