The NOTION-3 trial demonstrated that in patients with coronary artery disease undergoing TAVR, PCI was associated with a significantly lower incidence of MACE (a composite of all-cause death, MI, and urgent revascularization) compared to conservative treatment over a median follow-up of 2 years, Dr. Jacob Lonborg and colleagues, Copenhagen University Hospital-Rigshospitalet, Denmark, reported in the December 12 issue of The New England Journal of Medicine.
