The use of intravascular imaging in PCI has increased since 2010, and its reliability as a performance metric has been confirmed; however, its association with one-year clinical outcomes was not demonstrated, Dr. Elliot J. Stein and colleagues, University of Washington Medical Center, USA, reported in the February issue of Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
