The First-in-Man Technique of Drug Eluting and Perfusion Therapy for Left Main Coronary Artery Disease
The JDEPTH-LM pilot study demonstrated the safety and feasibility of the double-effect kissing balloon technique (W-KBT), which utilizes a perfusion balloon and a drug-coated balloon (DCB) following crossover stenting from the left main (LM) to the left anterior descending (LAD) in patients with LM disease, Dr. Takayuki Warisawa and colleagues, NTT Medical Center Tokyo, Japan, reported in the online edition of Catheterization & Cardiovascular Interventions.
