Left Main Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection: Clinical Features, Management, and Outcomes
A pooled analysis of case reports demonstrated that patients with spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) involving the left main (LM) coronary artery had a high mortality rate, and that early revascularization with PCI or CABG was associated with a lower risk of early adverse outcomes compared with conservative management, Dr. Michele Morosato and colleagues, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Italy, reported in the April 28 issue of JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions.
