A meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials demonstrated that optical coherence tomography (OCT)-guided PCI significantly improved clinical outcomes compared with angiography-guided PCI alone in patients with complex coronary lesions, Dr. Chidubem Ezenna and colleagues, University of Massachusetts, USA, reported in the May issue of Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
