Symptoms
Current medical history
- A patient was under outpatient follow-up for ischemic cardiomyopathy.
- On a certain day in X year, the patient had faint without any trigger. He was called to the emergency services as he was unresponsive to his wife's calls. When the emergency services were contacted, the ECG waveform was ventricular fibrillation, and the AED was activated but did not stop.
- The patient had persistent ventricular fibrillation after arrival at the emergency department of the hospital, so a PCPS call was made to the department on request.
