Predictors of Cardiovascular Events After Coronary IVL Use: The BENELUX-IVL Registry
The BENELUX-IVL Registry demonstrated that clinical outcomes through 2 years were favorable among patients undergoing IVL for calcified coronary lesions, while procedural complications, (CTO), in-stent lesions, plaque modification after IVL, and severe residual stenosis on angiography were identified as independent risk factors for 1-year MACE, Dr. Martijn J.H. van Oort and colleagues, Leiden University Medical Center, the Netherlands, reported in the January 1 issue of The American Journal of Cardiology.
