Optimal IVUS-Guided LM-PCI: The OPTIVUS-Complex PCI Study LMCA Cohort
The OPTIVUS-Complex PCI Study LMCA Cohort demonstrated that among patients undergoing PCI for LMCA disease, IVUS-guided LM-PCI targeting the OPTIVUS criteria was associated with a significantly lower 1-year incidence of cardiovascular events compared with a prespecified PCI performance goal, Dr. Ryusuke Nishikawa and colleagues, Kyoto University, Japan, reported in the January 15 issue of The American Journal of Cardiology.
