Long-term Outcomes in Diabetic Patients with FFR(-)/TCFA(+) - COMBINE OCT-FFR Trial, Experts Read
The COMBINE OCT-FFR study, published in EuroIntervention, a European journal in the field of catheter interventions, reported that diabetic patients with coronary artery lesions in which atherosclerotic plaques with a thin fibrous cup (TCFA) were detected by OCT, even though FFR Patients were reported to have a higher risk of adverse events at 5 years compared to patients with no TCFA detected, causing numerous ripples against the significance of FFR both domestically and internationally.
