The TRILUMINATE trial demonstrated that transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) using the TriClip device for symptomatic severe tricuspid regurgitation (TR) was safe and significantly reduced heart failure hospitalizations compared to medical therapy alone over a two-year follow-up, according to a study presented by Dr. Saibal Kar, Los Robles Regional Medical Center, USA, in the Late-Breaking Clinical Trials session at ACC.25.
