Recurrent PCI at ten years after treatment with biodegradable vs. permanent Polymer DES: The ISAR-TEST 4 Trial
The ISAR-TEST 4 trial demonstrated that after 10 years of follow-up following PCI, biodegradable polymer sirolimus-eluting stents were associated with a lower risk of total TLR compared with early-generation durable polymer sirolimus-eluting stents, while no significant difference was observed compared with durable polymer everolimus-eluting stents, according to a study presented by Dr. Karsten Hug, Deutsches Herzzentrum München, Germany, in the Hotline/Late-Breaking Trials session at EuroPCR 2026.
