Low-dose Administration of Carperitide for Acute Heart Failure: the LASCAR-AHF study
The Japanese multicentre LASCAR-AHF study showed that in patients with acute heart failure, low-dose carperitide added to standard therapy did not reduce all-cause mortality/hospitalization for heart failure at 2 years compared with standard therapy, according to a study reported by Dr. Toshiyuki Nagai of Hokkaido University, in the Late Breaking Clinical Trials Session at Heart Failure 2024.
