An integrated analysis of the IVUS-XPL, ULTIMATE, and IVUS-ACS trials demonstrated that a minimal stent area (MSA) >5.5 mm² assessed by IVUS was associated with favorable 1-year clinical outcomes, Dr. Sang-Hyup Lee and colleagues, Severance Hospital, South Korea, reported in the September 22 issue of JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions.
