Staging of heart failure patients with secondary mitral regurgitation undergoing transcatheter edge-to-edge repair
Patients with heart failure with reduced EF (HFrEF) undergoing M-TEER for secondary mitral regurgitation (SMR) showed differences in postoperative survival and symptom improvement according to classification by heart condition other than mitral valve. Dr. Lukas Stolz and colleagues of Klinikum der Universitat Munchen, Germany, reported in the January 23 issue of JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions.
