Long-Term and Temporal Relationships Between Post-Stent FFR and Clinical Outcomes
Low post-PCI FFR after successful DES implantation was associated with a significantly higher 5-year risk of TVF—defined as cardiac death, target vessel–related myocardial infarction, or target vessel revascularization—compared with high post-PCI FFR, with the association being more pronounced within the first 3 years, Dr. Doyeon Hwang and colleagues, Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea, reported in the December 8 issue of JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions.
