Functional Insufficiency of Mitral and Tricuspid Valves Associated With Atrial Fibrillation: Impact of Postoperative Atrial Fibrillation Recurrence on Surgical Outcomes
Postoperatively, mitral and tricuspid valves might show signs of reduced functions. This situation, caused by atrial fibrillation, forecasts negatively on valvular corrective surgeries. Therefore, more studies are needed to ensure better surgical results in the case of atrial fibrillation.
