Safety and Efficacy of Excimer Laser Ablation in Combination with DCB in the Treatment of Arteriosclerosis
In patients with arteriosclerosis obliterans (ASO) of the lower extremities, treatment with excimer laser ablation plus DCB resulted in a 12-month primary patency rate of 92.0% and a major amputation-free survival rate of 96.0%. Dr. Xiaolang Jiang and colleagues of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, China, reported in the October issue of the Journal of Endovascular Therapy.
