Ten-year national trends in in-hospital mortality and functional outcomes after intracerebral hemorrhage by age in Japan: J-ASPECT study
The J-ASPECT study demonstrated that in-hospital mortality rates for patients with intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) decreased in Japan from 2010 to 2020, but the proportion of patients with the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) of 3-5 at discharge increased, Dr. Yuriko Nakaoku and colleagues, National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center, Japan, reported in the June issue of the European Stroke Journal.
