In patients treated with second- or newer-generation drug-eluting stents (DES), chronic stent recoil was observed in about one-fifth of lesions that underwent target lesion revascularization (TLR), and it was associated with TLR, Dr. Yoichiro Sugizaki and colleagues, Cardiovascular Research Foundation, USA, reported in the May 12 issue of JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions.
