Digital Twin-Guided Patient Specific Rotor Ablation for Persistent Atrial Fibrillation: The CUVIA Trial
The CUVIA trial demonstrated that among patients undergoing first ablation for persistent atrial fibrillation (AF), digital twin–guided rotor ablation in addition to pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) reduced the relative risk of atrial arrhythmia recurrence by 48% compared with conventional PVI, according to a study presented by Dr. Daehoon Kim, Yonsei University College of Medicine, Korea, in the Hot Line session at ESC Congress 2025.
