Lipoprotein(a) as an Independent Predictor of 5-Year Mortality After EVT in LEAD Patients
Among patients with lower extremity artery disease (LEAD), elevated lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] is an independent predictor of 5-year mortality after EVT, with a suggested cutoff value of 21 mg/dL, according to a study presented by Dr. Shigeyasu Tsuda, Kita-Harima Medical Center, Japan, in the Oral Presentation session at the 90th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Circulation Society.
