Initial results of TAVR with the Navitor Self-Expanding Valve in Japan: the OCEAN-TAVI registry
The OCEAN-TAVI registry has shown that in Japanese patients with aortic stenosis, TAVR using the Navitor self-expanding valve has a low incidence of perivalvular regurgitation (PVL) and low prosthesis-patient mismatch (PPM) rates, with high technical success rates and good short-term clinical outcomes, despite a small valve annulus and small vascular access, according to a study reported by Dr. Kentaro Hayashida of Keio University, in the Hotline/Late-Breaking Trials session at EuroPCR 2024.
