The AdmIRE trial demonstrated that catheter ablation with the Varipulse pulsed field ablation (PFA) system integrated with a 3D mapping system for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation showed safety and efficacy with short procedure times, Dr. Vivek Y. Reddy and colleagues, Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital, USA, reported in the 8 October issue of Circulation.
