Outcomes of coronary intravascular lithotripsy for the treatment of calcified nodules: a pooled analysis of the Disrupt CAD studies

In lesions with coronary calcified nodules (CNs), despite a greater calcium volume compared to lesions without CNs, intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) achieved similar stent expansion and luminal gain regardless of the presence of CNs, Dr. Ziad A. Ali and colleagues, St. Francis Hospital, USA, reported in the December 2 issue of EuroIntervention.
