Impact of DCB and anterior dilatation balloon diameter on outcomes for femoral popliteal artery lesions: the RABBIT study
From the RABBIT study, there was no difference in procedural success rate, 1-year restenosis avoidance rate, or TLR avoidance rate in patients treated with a drug-coated balloon (DCB) in the femoral popliteal artery, regardless of whether the DCB diameter was larger than the pre-dilatation balloon diameter. Dr. Yo Iwata of Funabashi Municipal Medical Center presented at the Hot-line Session of the 87th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Circulation Society.
