The CREDO-Kyoto PCI Registry Cohort 3 demonstrated that approximately 90% of patients were taking 5 or more medications at discharge. An increased number of medications was associated with a higher risk of major bleeding but not with ischemic events, Dr. Ko Yamamoto and colleagues, Kokura Memorial Hospital, Japan, reported in the June issue of the Circulation Journal.
