Association Between Pedal Artery EVT and Wound Recurrence in Patients With CLTI: The SAVEPEDAL Study
The SAVEPEDAL study demonstrated that among patients with CLTI who achieved complete wound healing after EVT, those who underwent pedal artery angioplasty had a significantly higher rate of wound recurrence compared to those who did not, according to a study presented by Dr. Takashi Yanagiuchi, Rakuwakai Otowa Hospital, Japan, in the Late Breaking Clinical Trial session at CVIT 2025.
