High-Risk Plaques Observed by CT and Future Cardiac Events in Patients with FFR-Negative Chronic Coronary Syndrome: The CAPTURE Trial
The CAPTURE trial demonstrated that among patients with chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) in whom revascularization was deferred due to negative fractional flow reserve (FFR), the presence of high-risk plaques detected by coronary CT angiography (CTA) was significantly associated with future cardiac events, according to a study presented by Dr. Yukio Ozaki, Fujita Health University, Japan, in the Late Breaking Clinical Trial session at CVIT 2025.
