Rotational Atherectomy for Calcified Nodules With Contralateral Calcification: Insights From the U-SCAN Registry
The U-SCAN Registry demonstrated that PCI using rotational atherectomy (RA) for calcified nodules (CN) was associated with a reduced risk of TLR, with the benefit being particularly pronounced in patients with contralateral calcification, Dr. Naoya Yabumoto and colleagues, National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center, reported in the April issue of Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions.
