Association of statin use with nonresponsive coronary artery lesions and adverse events: LRP trial sub-study
Starting statins at discharge was effective in reducing events related to nonresponsive lesions in patients who had undergone coronary angiography. This is according to the result of LRP trial that was conducted by Dr. Brian C. Case of MedStar Washington Hospital Center, USA, and colleagues, and reported in the March 1 issue of The American Journal of Cardiology.
