Coronary CT angiography-guided management of patients with stable chest pain: 10-year outcomes from the SCOT-HEART randomised controlled trial in Scotland
The long-term follow-up of the SCOT-HEART trial demonstrated that in patients with stable chest pain, coronary CT angiography (CCTA)-guided management reduced the 10-year risk of coronary heart disease death or non-fatal myocardial infarction (MI) compared to standard care alone, Dr. Michelle C Williams and colleagues, University of Edinburgh, UK, reported in the January 25 issue of The Lancet.
